Our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, including messages we internalize from the outside world, can impact us deeply. They can influence our views of what is possible and not possible for us. If we look closely, we may find that we need to unlearn some old habits and ways of connecting to ourselves and others. We may notice certain beliefs that we hold that are in conflict with what we want. For example, we may want a more fulfilling life where we matter as much as others but at the same time believe that attending to our emotional needs is not as important as providing for others. When our beliefs and practices are not aligned with what we want, we may feel stuck and struggle to overcome it.
I bring to my work a combination of leadership background, cross-cultural perspective, and twenty years of experience as a therapist. I am active and collaborative in my approach to helping people develop useful emotional insights and skills that are more aligned with what they are seeking.
